The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) has awarded Erik Rietveld a prestigious VIDI-grant for a 5 year research project in philosophy and the development of his research group at the University of Amsterdam. 

In a subproject embedded on site at Rietveld Landscape's studio, Erik and his team will analyze expert intuition of architects at work. This is not only important for the philosophy of embodied or enactive cognition, but will also contribute to the articulation of our design approach of 'strategic interventions'.
