The International Triennial Apeldoorn  is very pleased to announce the International Conference ‘A Wider View on Cultural Landscape Challenges in Europe 2008’ in Radio Kootwijk. Surrounded by the exhibition ‘European Cultural Landscapes’, geographers, planners, ecologists, landscape architects, sociologists, philosophers and artists will discuss a wide variety of landscapes, the developments that bear upon them, the different approaches taken and the results achieved. It is intended to lead to an inventory of problems and tasks. At the same time, it will reveal the degree to which we lack the knowledge and skills to deal with those problems and tasks.
